Summary:
These oysters are grown in the Baynes Sound area of Vancouver Island. The water in this area is known to be extraordinarily clean, making it perfect for oyster farming. These oyster have a great meat to shell ratio. The oysters are beach harvested by hand, and have a very strong shell due to that beach hardening. You will find that these oysters have a melon taste with slight salty finish.
