The Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife has recently released salmon run predictions in the Columbia River Basin for 2010. All species including, king, coho, sockeye and steelhead are projected to be some of the strongest on record for the mainstem Columbia and major tributaries. This has both tribal fishers and lower river commercial fishers upbeat about prospective catches in the coming year.
